Jalal Benhayoun


Graduated from Mohammadia School of Engineers and Al Akhawayn University Jalal Benhayoun began his career in 2004 at Groupement pour un Système Interbancaire Marocain de Télécompensation « GSIMT » as a project manager before occupying the position of IT and Operations Manager where he was in charge of the implementation of the National Electronic Gross Mass Clearing System. He then joined in 2011 Fenie Brossette subsidiary of SOMED group as Supply Chain Director. In may 2014 he was appointed General Manager of PORTNET S.A. « National Single Window for Foreign Trade » function that leads him to work in close contact with public and private operators in order to improve and facilitate international trade.

Jalal is also Vice Chair of the African Alliance of E-Commerce “AAEC” and UN/CEFACT expert leading the edition of a new recommendation on the core principles of the operation of single window systems.

In May 2018, Jalal was elected by the Moroccan Logistics Development Agency as “Professional of the Year” at the 3rd edition of the Moroccan Logistics Awards.
